Privacy Policies of Nubia Account, Cloud Service and User Center

“Account, Cloud Service , User Center” are basic services operated by Nubia Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as “we” or “Nubia”)to provide terminals for you. We are deeply aware of the importance of personal information to you and will try our best to guarantee security of your personal information. Nubia guarantees to adopt corresponding safety guarantee measures to protect your personal information in accordance with legal requirements and mature safety standards in the industry.

You guarantee that you are an adult when starting to use this app (or service). If you are a juvenile, it takes your guardians’ approval for you to use this app and agree relevant app service clauses.

I. How do we collect and use your personal information

“Personal information” refers to any information associated with recognized or recognizable natural persons. Recognizable natural persons refer to natural persons that can be directly or indirectly identified through names, ID, positioning data, network identifier and economic, culture and social identify.

Personal sensitive information includes ID number, personal biological recognition information, bank account, property information, tracks, transaction information and personal information of children aged 14 and below.

Provide following core function services for you

Business function: Nubia account

When you login Nubia account on Nubia cell phone, “Cloud Space”, “Find My Phone” and “Member Center” and other services will be enabled. Nubia account, as the access proof, provides consistent user experience and certification safety for “application market”, “themes”, “reading” and other services and other terminal devices and partners of Nubia. Meanwhile, the real name authentication information required by our country(including ID, cell phone information)may be encrypted and provided to relevant institutions for authentication to ensure safety. Meanwhile, we constructed sound risk control system to guarantee rights of Nubia and yours.

Use Nubia account

When you create Nubia account, we will collect the Nubia account information input, device identifier and network information. Meanwhile, we may use date of birth to confirm the age of Nubia account holder and confirm proper services. After you complete other information of the account, we can provide better services and experience for you by using these information.

When you login Nubia account, we will collect your device identifier, network information and rough location when logging in. You may login Nubia account faster through binding third party accounts such as Tencent QQ, Weibo and WeChat. The third party account may need to collect your personal information such as device identifier and rough location information. Your nickname and profile pictures set in the third party account may apply to Nubia account. You may also login faster by using mobile phone number. We will provide your network information to operators to complete registration or login.

After you login Nubia account, Nubia value-added services(such as “Nubia application market”, “Nubia game center”, “Nubia reading”, etc.) will launch automatic login function without interrupting your user experience. These services will acquire your Nubia account information. When you use Nubia services of payments, contents and developer communities, to conform to provisions of national laws, regulations and regulators, we require your real name authentication.

When you complete real name authentication through ID card, we will transfer your valid identify information to relevant institutions for certification and verification in a encrypted way to verify your real identify. Nubia will never provide your real name authentication information to third parties.

Account security

To protect your Nubia account information security, we set SMS verification method including completion of Nubia account information, setting of security mobile phone number, which requires you to provide corresponding mobile phone number and e-mail address. Meanwhile, you can retrieve the password through the self-help function provided by us, or you can modify your Nubia account number, mobile phone number, email address, or cancel account number through account appeal.

Cloud Space

“Cloud Space” provides real-time synchronization and backup functions for you to safely store your phones, contacts, calenders and notepads and other data and sync them in Nubia servers or other logged-in devices to protect your personal data and prevent loss by accident.

The above data synchronization and backup will be enabled after your consent and setting.

After you enable “Cloud Space”, “Find My Phone” function will be automatically enabled. You can position your device(when positioning device, the system will automatically enable positioning service), ring, lock and erase data to present erasing or re-activation of devices without your Nubia account and password. Through “Find My Phone”, your device location can be positioned on the map.

When you use the above functions on web(yun.nubia.com) of “Cloud Space”, others cannot access your data without your account and password. Without your consent, Nubia will not disclose your personal information to any companies, organizations or individuals except for Nubia, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations. You can enable or disable corresponding data item on the main page of “Cloud Space” to control sync, backup data of your device and your cloud space accounts and disable function of “Find My Phone”.

When you pay for cloud space, you will complete corresponding payment operation through Nubia. To ensure that you can enjoy payment rights, we need to collect your purchase record(including package name, space size, purchase duration, purchase time and order number).

Member center

It will only display benefits and points related to you. When you acquire physical prizes through points in “Member Center”, to contact you and issue corresponding prize, we will collect your number, address and contact information and provide logistics service to third party logistics provider.

The collection of above data aims to create, enhance functions, provide service improvement, customer support and other necessary or required services related to one-key device switch.

Your rejection to provide these information will result in failure to normally operate part of the functions of the application.

II. Your rights as data subject

We set convenient ways for you to manage your data. You may go to “setting”>“Nubia account” to visit, revise your personal information such as Nubia account, profile pictures, nicknames and security phone, e-mail and other information.

For further requirements or any doubts, opinions or suggestion on your data subject rights, you may contact us through the ways specified in “how to contact us” in the statement and exercise your relevant rights.

III. Data storage location and period

The personal information collected and generated under the service will be stored within the territory of People’s Republic of China.

Unless otherwise specified by laws and regulations, we only keep your personal information within necessary time for the achievement of the purpose stated in this statement and will delete or anonymize your personal information when exceeding the following retention time.

If you need to use Nubia account, we will keep storing the personal account information mentioned in the privacy statement to ensure your normal usage of Nubia account and relevant Nubia services; when you cancel the account, we will delete all materials, documents and backup under your account. The location information collected by “Find My Phone” will be immediately deleted after disabling “Find My Phone”.

Your SMS verification code is only used for security verification and will not be stored by us.

IV. How is this statement updated

Nubia reserves the right to timely update this statement. When the statement is changed, we will display changed one through proper ways. Only after obtaining your consent will we collect, use and store your personal information according to updated statement.

This statement comes into effect on the date of update.
